Grow grass for pollinators

Conservation efforts for pollinators are essential for ensuring the health of our ecosystems and the sustainability of our food supply. Although there is a massive push for growing flowering plants which are an essential food source for pollinators such as bees and butterflies, grasses are just as important for the larval stages and as part of their habitats. Growing a range of native grass species and keeping areas of longer, uncut grass in our gardens, we can create a thriving habitat for pollinators essential for ecosystems.
